How to read the news in 5 minutes a day

This routine is designed to keep you informed without getting pulled into endless updates. It’s short on purpose. Consistency beats volume.

Step 1 (3 minutes): Read one brief

Choose a single short summary that covers a few important stories. The goal is the “shape” of the day, not every detail.

Step 2 (1 minute): Open one source link (optional)

If one story really matters to you, open just one primary source link. Avoid opening 10 tabs.

Step 3 (30 seconds): Reflect

  1. What actually changed?
  2. Why does it matter?
  3. Is there anything I should do next?

Try it with Tiny Rock

Tiny Rock is built to support this exact flow: short briefs + sources + reflection.
