The concept of AI companions is built around three core pillars: Entertainment, Home, and Care. In the entertainment sector, Samsung introduced the Vision AI Companion, which offers context-aware recommendations for viewing content, meal planning, and ambient music. The company also showcased its 130-inch Micro RGB display, which utilizes a micro-sized RGB light source for high-fidelity picture quality.
In the home sector, Samsung emphasized the transition of appliances from tools to "home companions." Leveraging the SmartThings platform, the company introduced updates to its kitchen and cleaning lineups, including the Family Hub refrigerator with AI Vision, built with Google Gemini. This upgrade allows the fridge to track items placed inside or removed, suggesting recipes based on current inventory.
